Job Title: Senior Test Engineer - Selenium/C#

Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Test Engineer with a strong background in Selenium and C# to join our dedicated software testing team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of test automation excellence, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience using Selenium and C#. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through efficient and effective automated testing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and C# to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our web applications and APIs.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and quality assurance to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios.
• Analyze and interpret testing requirements to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports that provide clear visibility into testing progress and results.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, and explore the integration of new tools like Cypress, Playwright with JS, or others, as appropriate, to enhance the automation process.
• Participate in code reviews, offering technical expertise and guidance to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices for automation.
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues, working collaboratively with development teams to identify root causes and implement timely resolutions.
• Continuously assess and enhance the overall testing process, leveraging your expertise to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor junior members of the testing team, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster their growth and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the evolution of our quality assurance strategies and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on test automation.
• Proven hands-on experience of at least 3 years using Selenium and C# for test automation.
• Solid understanding of programming concepts and excellent coding skills in C#.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and analytically to design effective test strategies and identify defects.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate testing outcomes.
• A proactive and self-driven attitude, with a passion for staying updated with advancements in the testing and automation field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or test automation (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium WebDriver) are a plus.
• Experience with additional test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright with JS) and a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Location:

This position is based in Mumbai. While we prefer on-site presence, we understand the value of flexibility and may consider remote work arrangements.
